Feral Obsession - Part 1 Alt Ending

Key: MD, MC, MF

Description: When Xander follows a young woman out of the city, he bites off more than he can chew. (Alt Ending clearly marked below!)

It was a dark night in late October. The sky was full of angry clouds and a moon that was trying, and failing, to break through the cover. Fall had come early to New Chicago, the leaves were already blowing around the city while the residents had started to decorate their homes and stores with festive little trinkets and a mix of orange, green, and purple lights. It was one of Xander’s favorite times of year. After all, when else can an incubus walk through the city with his wings and tail on full display without so much as a glance from anyone?
Tonight, however, he was sitting on the balcony of his apartment, scanning the city with his enhanced vision to see what prey he might come across. To his surprise he spied a woman moving confidently and quietly towards the edge of town, near the forest preserve that marked the western edge of the city limits. She stood out to him for a few reasons. First, it was early evening, the sun had set more than an hour ago and the park had closed some time before that. Second, she was dressed in a pinstriped business suit, complete with jacket and a hat. It made her look almost like a mobster, which wasn’t exactly the best attire for a stroll through the woods. But what caught his eye the most was the fact that she was absolutely stacked! She was easily over six feet tall in the shoes she was wearing and her build implied that she was both fit and powerful. There was confidence in the way she walked, a strength not only of body but of personality.
She was the perfect target for the evening.
Casually leaning forward, he let his wings grow and extend out of his back. He began a brief free fall before his wings caught the air below and billowed out to support his weight in a very slow, gentle glide across the city. He was able to track her as she walked given that her pace was quick, but not hurried. She wasn’t running either, more just taking a brisk stroll. He watched as she reached the edge of the city, the very edge of the forest preserve, and for the first time she stopped and turned to look behind her.
By now Xander was gliding above her head but he could tell that she felt like she was being watched. Being followed, even. She carefully, methodically scanned the area around her. Every window, every vehicle, every door, and every street. Even so, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something, or someone, was watching her. And yet nothing stood out.
He watched as she finished her scan and then abruptly turned and pushed into the forest as quickly as she could. She wasn’t on a trail, and despite being in a business suit and dress shoes, she moved through the thickest part of the forest with ease. The leaves cracked beneath her feet as she moved, pushing branches and bushes out of her way until she found a clearing. For the first time since he’d been watching her, Xander saw her visibly relax. It was like she felt safe here, at home.
Which made it the perfect time to strike.
With skillful grace he collapsed his wings to let his body begin a free fall, leaning forward into the dive as his wings angled to keep him from falling straight down while he glided down towards his prey. The distance closed quickly and soon he was mere feet from her. He extended his wings to slow him down, shifting his body forward as he did. His plan was, basically, to ram into her, wrap his arms and legs around her and push her to the ground to pin her down. From there he would use his hypnotic powers to subdue her, like the prey that he viewed her as. The distance closed and he moved to strike.
And then, all at once, the young woman pivoted on her heels, spinning quickly to the right and ducking her head down. Xander’s body flew past hers without so much as brushing against her suit and his wings cleared her head by a fraction of an inch. Of course without her there to stop his descent he continued at a rather rapid pace right past his target and slammed face first into a tree with a loud crash and the sound of wood and branches breaking.
"Olé!" The tall woman said, smiling smugly as she slowly walked towards the literal crashed out incubus.
Xander's body slid off of the tree and hit the forest floor with a thud, leaving his legs tangled in the tree branches above his head while his head rested on the ground. “Owww…” he groaned as his wings slowly shrank into his shoulder blades, breaking several branches along the way.
“Oh, that was just the prelude to your long ass night of bad decisions, demon boy.” the tall woman said as she grabbed a fistful of Xander’s hair, casually lifting him to eye height one handed before launching him across the clearing into another stack of bushes.
Xander was in a state of shock as he sailed across the clearing, crashing through the brush and slamming back first into a large tree. There was an audible snap, whether from the tree or his spine Xander wasn’t sure, but the impact shook the tree and caused a cascade of leaves to quickly bury him in an impromptu pile. “Well this is humiliating.” he thought to himself. As he lay there, feeling slowly returning to his extremities, he couldn’t help but realize that given his size and weight, no woman, not even one as built as she was, should have been able to throw him that far. No less one handed. There was something different about her.
“It’s not nice to stalk women, demon boy.” she said with a cold, confident tone as she power walked across the clearing. “I’d ask what you want but I hate platitudes and know your type.” She dug through the pile of leaves until she found something solid to grasp. “I don’t think you're ready for this challenge!” she scolded before shifting her weight and throwing what she had a hold of towards another tree.
To her surprise, as the missile of incubus and leaves flew across the clearing, Xander’s wings extended once again and, in a rare moment of grace, slowed and corrected his trajectory, allowing him to slide across the dirt in an almost superhero-esque landing. With one knee and one fist on the dirt, he skidded to a full stop and looked up confidently…only to receive a face full of leaves.
The smartly dressed woman stood up to her full height and straightened the cuffs of her suit jacket, smugly laughing. “So close to making that cinematic debut,” she quipped, “but alas, your night of tribulations has only begun!” She broke into a full sprint at the man, cocking her right fist back to throw a devastating haymaker.
Xander spit a few leaves from his mouth and wiped his face clear of the leaves, only to notice just how quickly the woman was advancing. More out of reflex than actual planning he cried out “STOP!” as his eyes opened wide in shock, his hypnotic powers instinctively pulsing and beginning to swirl in hypnotic colours.
The hypnotic glow from his eyes illuminated the entire clearing, including the body and face of the woman who was about to send him to the moon. But the moment the lights flashed across her face her expression went from one of gleeful malice to surprise before going completely slack. Her own eyes widened as they reflected the glow of his hypnotic gaze.
She stopped in her tracks but maintained her balance, sliding to a halt a few feet from Xander. Her first was still wound up and ready to launch, but she just stared at him like she’d been put on pause…and in a way she had been.
Xander let out a relieved sigh. Although he could easily heal from any damage, he really didn’t like pain all that much. “That was close.” he said, brushing the rest of the leaves off of his body and staring into the woman’s eyes to make sure she wasn’t going to break his spell any time soon. “Who are you?” he asked, confused.
“Roxy…” the woman replied in a flat monotone voice, just staring into the glowing, hypnotic eyes of the incubus. Her body was still tense, still ready to strike, but her face was completely slack. Her mouth had fallen open just a bit and her eyes were completely glassy, reflecting the swirl of hypnotic energy emanating from Xander’s eyes.
“Roxy, yeah that name fits” he said with a grunt as his healing powers relocated his shoulder while the few scrapes and scratches that were visible on his face and arms disappeared. “Why are you in the middle of the forest at night?” he asked, his posture relaxing as control shifted back into his court.
“Scouting…” she said blankly, staring back ahead. “Searching…preparing…”
Xander nodded at her with a smile, not really paying much attention, he was instead getting a good look at her for the first time. Her body was toned and powerful and her build was visible under the pinstriped suit. Hell, she wore that suit better than most men. Her face was, not surprisingly, equally toned but with a gentleness, a feminine quality that made her quite appealing to him. Leaning in, Xander quickly created a hypnotic orb of energy in his hand and inserted it into her forehead like a quarter for slots. He felt her body shiver and let out a sigh as the orb phased through her head and into her brain. Her eyes lit up in the same swirl of hypnotic colors that Xander’s eyes had. “That should keep you calm for a while.” the incubus said as the hypnotic glow faded from his eyes. “What are you preparing for?” he asked as he started to circle the young woman, inspecting her body.
“Full moon. I need a place to change, secluded and safe.” she said without a hint of emotion in her voice.
“Change into what?” Xander asked as he gently guided her fist down to her side, disarming her attack more as a show of dominance than fear of a strike.
“Werewolf.” Roxy in a cool and flat manner.
“Werewolf?!” Xander said in surprise. “You have a werewolf?” he asked.
He is kind of an idiot sometimes.
“I am a werewolf.” Roxy responded with just a hint of frustration that seemed to break through the hypnotic trance.
Xander’s face lit up as a sudden realization crossed his mind. “That’s how you were able to throw me across the clearing. You’re…a werewolf in human form, aren’t you?” he asked, finally putting things together.
“Yes…” Roxy responded, completely ignoring Xander's hand as it started to roam along her muscular back and drift down to her butt.
“I see.” he said with a smile, admiring the feeling of her toned butt under her suit. “And the full moon is tonight?” he asked.
“Tomorrow.” she replied with no reaction to his increasingly invasive groping. “My old spot became a parking lot. I needed a new place to separate myself from others.” she admitted.
“Thats when you change, hmmm?” he said as his hand slowly moved along her thigh and up along her very surprisingly toned belly.
“No,” she whispered, “can change any time. But I can’t resist the change on a full moon.”
Xander's hand made his way up her torso to caress her breast, and holy shit was this girl stacked even with the binder she was wearing! That distracted both Xander and the author for a moment before we both got back to the plot at hand. “You can change any time? I thought werewolves could only change on the full moon?” he asked as his hand finally left the hypnotized woman’s breast.
“Most can’t…I’m older…more control, more power. Can transform at any time… but on a full moon, no control. It just…happens.” she whispered as a shiver went through her body.
Xander looked into her eyes as he let his hand slide back up her body and along her jaw, gently gripping her chin. “Show me.” he said with a devious smile. At this point he was enjoying the power trip too much to actually think through what he was saying.
“No.” Roxy replied in the same flat, monotone voice.
At the word no Xander’s eyebrow raised as a smirk formed on his face. “Oh yes!” he said as he released her chin and took a step back. His eyes pulsed once again, lighting up in a swirl of colors and forming a hypnotic pattern. But this time they were so bright, so concentrated, they seemed to form a cone of energy that emanated from his eyes to slowly form around Roxy’s face. “Yes.” he said again, confidently.
Roxy began to visibly shake as she struggled to keep control of the power that was inside of her. “Nn…nooo…” she meekly mumbled as her body grew, only to shrink back down to her normal size.
Xander’s eyes narrowed and with it the cone of energy that they were producing, aimed directly into Roxy’s eyes. He pushed directly into her mind, finding that point of resistance, that last little bit of her will…and with the kind of arrogance and stupidity you find in every horror story, he put that part of her mind to sleep. “Transform.” he commanded like a mad scientist on a power trip.
Roxy felt what was left of her awareness simply switch off. Her face seemed to go just a bit more slack as her jaw fell open just a bit more. Everything was simple, still and calm…and then she started to grow.
It was subtle at first, like she was just getting taller. But then her body started to get thicker and wider and her suit started to look like it was shrinking, getting tighter. The sound of fabric tearing filled the clearing. The sound of Roxy’s breathing became more animalistic, more like a growl. As the shoulders of her suit tore away an electric blue fur became visible.
Xander took a step back in surprise and watched closely as her skin started to grow that same blue fur. Her fingers became thicker, more muscular, and her already long nails shifted and thickened into dark black claws. The sound of her shoes popping apart made him look down to see her feet expanding out into human-like paws with claws on the toenails. With another rip a big tail burst from her pants, almost as if it had a mind of its own, and began to swish lazily behind her.
He looked back up to her face just in time to see her eyes change into a deep glowing red, as her nose and mouth started to elongate into a muzzle. With every inch that it grew outward, her flat human teeth were replaced with sharper, longer, more canine style teeth. Meanwhile, the fur continued to grow up her neck and along her face. The transformation took maybe thirty seconds but felt like forever to both Xander and Roxy, for very different reasons.
All at once the creature Xander had purposely released, broke through its frozen pose and growled in anger while rolling its shoulders, flexing all of its muscles as it lifted its head and howled deep and loud into the night…
He watched in awe as the creature howled up into the moon filled sky, the sound easily echoing into the city nearby. She was magnificent, and absolutely huge. Reared up and howling she was easily nine or ten feet tall. It was amazing just how large she was. Her body was rippling with large powerful muscles, her legs had become bent and more wolf-like, but what stood out to him was just how feminine her form had remained. Her breasts were still clearly visible although now covered in fur, as was the curve of her butt. It was amazing and gorgeous at the same time.
—--------- Alt Ending —----------------
The wolf lowered her head and looked directly at Xander with a deep, snarling breath that made her entire body rise and fall like great bellows of a forge. There was something predatory in her gaze, teeth baring, hackles raised. She loomed forward as her eyes pierced into his. “Wait a second,” he thought for a moment as he looked at her clearly focused blue eyes, “what happened to my orb?” He reached out with his energy to try and feel the hypnotic orb that he had placed in her mind, only to find it was still there. It was keeping the human side of Roxy deeply asleep. But the human side of Roxy was no longer in the driver's seat. Instead, something primal stared back at him, something wild and feral. And, as it would turn out, something angry. “Oh shit.” he said as a terrible realization washed over his face.
Xander’s voice seemed to break the stillness of the moment. The beast lunged forward with a snarl, moving lightning fast despite her ridiculous size. Instinctively, he attempted to leap away into the air, which, unfortunately, paired with her own momentum sent him spiralling through the air and careening into another tree with enough force to break it.
The tree, splintered and broken, began to tip in his direction “Of course.” He grumbled to himself. His savior came in the form of his assaulter, who casually swatted the falling log away. It crashed through the nearby canopy, bouncing around like a ping-pong ball. The huge tree probably weighed at least a ton and was tossed nearly ten feet aside like it was made of foam.
Xander attempted to scramble to his feet but before he got far the wolf pounced, grabbing him and lifting him over her head with both clawed hands, only to slam him back down onto the packed dirt. He landed with a thud, the wind whooshing out of his lungs he let out a pained groan. Gritting his teeth, Xander growled in frustration and glared up at the massive creature currently pinning him to the ground. As she bore down on him he reached up, grabbing her claws confidently. You see, Xander is strong. Very strong. Strong enough to bench-press a pickup truck. So he had good reason to be confident that he could stop her.
        He was wrong.
The wolf easily pinned his arms to the ground behind him and snarled, growling and panting in his face as her hot breath tousled his hair. He didn’t know what to do, he’d never been over powered this easily before. All of his strength, all of his powers, seemed to be useless at this point. He struggled in vain to push her off but nothing happened, she didn’t even budge an inch.
The wolf growled deep in her chest, a low rumble he more felt then heard. She raked one of her hind legs across his torso, tearing clothes and the upper layer of skin away. As the tattered clothes fell away his second head made itself known standing tall and proud.
Xander looked down at his own little friend and then up at the werewolf, rolling his eyes. “Of course that happens.” he said with a sigh before turning his attention back to his struggle against the wolf. But it was no use, he couldn’t overpower her, she was ferocious. His last ditch effort was to try his eyes again, but as they lit up and flashed into the wolf's face she merely backhanded him across his face, making him see stars. Blinking his vision back into reality he had just enough time to register Roxy as she clamped down on his shoulder.
Xander screamed in pain at the bite and swore he felt the wolf position his little friend to enter her, then felt the wolf slowly lower down onto him. For the first time in his life he was in the position that so many of his own prey had been in. He was the one helpless, he was the one on the receiving end…and It was kind of sexy, actually. “Wait, what?” Xander asked his own thoughts as he felt his body responding without his own input. Damn incubus body.
The wolf squatted, pushing him deeper into her and releasing his shoulder to push herself down more. She lifted one of her massive paws to press his head down so he was unable to gaze at her. It wasn’t a thought out response, there was no thought here, only instinct, desire, natural drive, and power. She knew what she wanted and nothing was going to stand in the way of that, least of all this puny incubus and his hypnotic parlor tricks.
As she worked her body along his, he couldn’t help but feel his own arousal grow and finally released into her with a groan. It felt odd being on the other side but in a strangely good way. He didn’t expect that given that his head was essentially being stepped on at the time. Not that one, the upper one. A moment later his incubus anatomy kicked in and a wave of energy shot through the werewolf, making her sexual energy light up and start to be slowly drained into him. He shuddered as primal power flowed into him, slowly draining from her. She whimpered, noticeably sagging, the pressure on his head loosened enough for him to move her paw off of his face and look up at her.
She snapped at invisible enemies while her own orgasm flowed through her, but she knew something was happening, something not normal. She had walked into a trap, one set not by the incubus but by his biology, and that frightened the instincts within her. With the last of her strength Roxy lashed out, slamming her fist into Xander’s jaw embedding him in the dirt and knocking him senseless. Moments later the vestiges of power left the wolf’s body and she collapsed on top of the unconscious incubus.
Some time later morning light began to peak through the canopy and Xander stirred. It had taken all night for his body to heal the damage the werewolf had caused. He felt a hand against his cheek and he bolted to his feet, adrenaline coursing through him as he took stock of his surroundings. The unconscious woman rolled off him, stopping against the nearby shattered stump, evidence of last night's activities. Her skin was deceptively soft despite just how strong she was. He wasn’t sure when she transformed back, but he was glad that she did. He shifted her to the recovery position. Everything seemed to be healed. He even ran his hand over the bite on his neck and while there were still slight indents nothing felt pained or broken, lucky for him.
He looked down at the unconscious woman letting out a short exhale. “Umm, I think we should see other people.” he said as he began to make his way out of the clearing on unsteady legs. Slowly he made his way back towards the city, clothes tattered and destroyed, yet feeling a strange energy deep within his body.

        To be continued…

(this is one of the few times that an alt ending would actually fit into the next chapter so , whichever one you think is canon… you’re right!)
